Pond Ecosystems Bring your Background Landscape to Life...
Ponds are ecosystems, in that they play host to a total interrelationship of all organisms in the environment– birds, fish, frogs, plants, and many other varieties of microscopic organisms.
Thus, ponds not only create a natural ecosystem in their defined environment, but they also fit into the community or life cycle of not just one homeowner’s back yard, but of the entire ecological region. An ecosystem pond works with Mother Nature to provide food, shelter, and safety to the wildlife around it. It also provides you with an all-natural, low-maintenance piece of paradise.
LED Pond Lighting
Are Your Pond Lights Driving You Nuts ?
Proper Installation Techniques Will Increase The Longevity Of Your Lights
Pond Lighting is among the most common problems Pennsylvania owners have in their ponds. Understanding the basic principles of Pond Lights will save you time, money, and headaches in your water gardening adventures … if you can't figure it out, we are contractors that service most areas in Southeast Pennsylvania (PA) surrounding areas.
Why LED lighting? A popular question from our Bucks & Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (PA) area clients, is why should we use LED Lighting? LED Landscape Lighting only uses about 25% of the amount of energy of a typical landscape lighting system. This energy savings over a long period can be a substantial. Also, LED lights have a very long lamp life, up to 30-40,000 hours plus. That’s more than 10 times the lamp life of typical bulbs used in outdoor lighting systems. That translates to almost 22 years at 5 hours per day…..WOW!….. Other benefits are LED lights produce much lower heat, use less cable and smaller transformers. All this translates to big savings every year in energy and maintenance cost, compared to the traditional 12 volt outdoor lighting system usually installed in the Doylestown, Bucks & Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (PA) area.
Most Common Pond Lighting Issues
